Citi's Treasury and Trade Services Line of Business has embarked upon a journey to implement a best in class, highly resilient, scalable and frictionless payments solution for ecommerce clients with complete infrastructure based in AWS cloud (Express Payments). We are looking for a dynamic Test Subject Matter Expert (SME) who has a deep understanding of Instant Payments, ISO 20022 message formats, enjoys learning new functionalities, evaluates every requirement and solution as a true quality engineer and ensures adequate test coverage.

**Roles and Responsibilities -**
- **Subject Matter Expert**
- As a Quality Engineering SME the resource should participate in business requirement discussions, raise the right questions and ensure a thorough understanding of business objective.
- Participate in solution walkthroughs provided by the POs and raise concerns, issues and potential gaps with the design upfront.
- Have a clear understanding of the E2E design and flow and the overall payment orchestration.
- Guide the quality engineers to ensure adequate test coverage with the most optimum number of test cases.
- Build and review the test regression suite ensuring the regression suite is periodically updated and has the right coverage.
- Review production MIMs/Incidents and identify testing gaps and continuously improve testing coverage.
- Perform Impact Analsysis on defect fixes and ensure adequate targetted regression to ensure code breaks are identified.
- Work with the Test Leads in preparing the Test Plan and timelines and clearly articulate Test pre-requisites and dependencies.
- Plan to have the necessary Test pre-requisites and dependencies in place in advance of the testing.
- Manage the overall testing deliverable for Express Payments, by ensuring correct test planning and estimation, driving test automation, proactively identifying and highlighting risks to various stakeholders a senrior management and suggesting mitigation plans to ensure timely delivery of high quality output.
- Define the testing strategy which would be completely integrated within the development cycle and drive an iterative E2E testing methodology aligning with the agile adoption strategy.
- Coach and guide the vendor testing resources for their delivery, productivity and overall quality.
- Coordinate and build a collaborative working relationship with the dev teams to ensure timely delivery of the program.
- **Process Standardization**
- Define and implement standardized testing processes and artefacts.
- Build synergy between the development and testing teams ensuring collaborative approach to test automation, discussions and exchange of best practices and ideas.
- Strives for continuous improvements and streamlining of processes.
- **Automation**
- Drive in sprint testing automation for the programs ensuring zero manual testing.
- Implement a continuous testing and continuous regression model completely integrated within the CI/CD pipeline.
- Participate in designing the right architecture, model and tech stack for the automation framework.

**Qualifications**:

- Atleast 8 years IT Testing experience required
- Excellent knowledge and wide ranging experience in implementing various software testing techniques and testing tools
- In depth knowledge and expertise in Payments and Cash Management domain for corporate clients.
- Good understanding of SWIFT ISO20022 messaging structure and formats.
- Understanding of the payments landscape and working of various clearing schemes.
- Experience in testing on AWS infrastructure.
- Technically adept and thorough understanding of various automation tools like Selenium, LeanFT, etc.
- Requires communication and diplomacy skills and an ability to persuade and influence
- Thorough understanding of end to end testing processes, Quality Center, JIRA and other testing related tools
