**Position Overview:
**We are seeking a qualified and passionate Librarian to manage our school library, support the reading and research needs of students and staff, and foster a reading culture across all grades.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the school library.
- Maintain an organized, up-to-date catalog of books, digital resources, and other materials.
- Assist students and teachers in finding and using library resources.
- Promote reading through book clubs, reading challenges, and other literacy initiatives.
- Support the curriculum with relevant resource materials and reading lists.
- Ensure adherence to library rules and encourage responsible use of resources.
- Coordinate with faculty to integrate library services into classroom activities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science (B.Lib/M.Lib).
- Prior experience as a librarian in a school environment (CBSE experience preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with library management systems and digital resources.
- A passion for books, reading, and education.
- Ability to engage young readers and foster a positive, inclusive library atmosphere.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Knowledge of age-appropriate literature for children and young adults.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to manage e-books, digital subscriptions, and online databases.
- Creative in designing literacy programs and reading promotion activities.
