Ipd Billing Executive

The IPD Panel Billing Executive is responsible for managing inpatient billing related to Cash and insurance companies, TPAs (Third Party Administrators), CGHS, ECHS, corporates, and government panels. This includes preparing accurate bills, coordinating for approvals, managing documentation, and ensuring timely claim submissions and payments.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Generate IPD bills as per the tariff/agreements signed with insurance companies, TPAs, corporates, CGHS, or other panels.
Coordinate with admission, medical records, nursing, and pharmacy departments to gather chargeable details.
Handling & sorting out the problematic issues related to patient bills& to access them with the best possible support.
Counseling patient (for estimate) before admission and surgery, with the co-ordination of concerned doctor.
Ensure all medical services, procedures, investigations, and consumables are properly documented and billed.
Obtain pre-authorizations and approvals from TPAs/panels for inpatient services and surgeries.
Track approvals, denials, queries, and follow-ups related to IPD claims.
Submit final bills and discharge summaries to the respective panels/TPAs for processing claims.
Maintain accurate records of patient insurance details, panel agreements, and correspondence.
Ensure compliance with panel-specific billing rules and documentation requirements.
Resolve discrepancies in claims, rejections, or short payments by coordinating with TPA representatives or insurance desks.
Prepare MIS reports on panel billing, receivables, and claim status.
