Lube Technician

A lube technician, also known as an automotive service technician or mechanic assistant, performs routine maintenance and basic repairs on vehicles, focusing on lubrication and fluid systems. Their primary responsibilities include changing engine oil and filters, checking and replenishing various vehicle fluids, rotating tires, and inspecting vehicles for potential issues. Key Responsibilities:

- **Oil and Filter Changes**: Draining old oil, replacing it with new oil, and changing oil and air filters.
- **Fluid Checks and Replenishment**:Inspecting and topping off fluids like coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid.
- **Tire Maintenance**: Rotating tires to ensure even wear and checking tire pressure.
- **Vehicle Inspections**: Conducting visual inspections of vehicles, including checking for leaks, wear and tear, and other potential problems.
- **Basic Repairs**: Replacing items like windshield wipers, light bulbs, and air filters.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working order.
- **Documentation**: Recording all maintenance and repair work performed.
- **Customer Service**: Interacting with customers to explain the work performed and address any concerns.
