Security Operations Controller

Role Summary:
Implement the global security policies, regulations, rules, and norms and make sure that the organization is safe and secure for employees and visitors which includes but not limited to following:

- Ensure all Safety and Security Policies are complied with
- Assess Physical Security and Safety Risks
- Coordinate Safety Activities & Monitoring all Security systems.
- Produce reports on security activities and escalate all breaches

What You Will Do
- Identify, develop, implement, and maintain company security processes and asset protection measures across all business units to reduce risks, respond to incidents and limit exposure to liability in all areas.
- Provide expertise, direction and support on all matters relating to physical security, security risk identification, analysis and integration, production operations, security awareness, crisis management,
- Coordinate the development, planning and maintenance of Emergency Response Plans, Crisis Response Plans, and Disaster Recovery Plans.
- Interface with other business areas and divisions to accomplish cooperative goals, representing Global Physical Security in multidisciplinary initiatives.
- Provide ongoing analysis of security exposures, evaluate program effectiveness, and develop benchmarking standards and metrics to measure the effectiveness
- Perform other security management duties as needed
- Manage all offices access control device and CCTV via VPN/ remote login which includes:

- ** Keeping **track of different events.
- **Implementing** security protocols.
- **Creating** emergency response procedures.
- **Conducting** security evaluations.
- Manage Access & ID badge creation globally & printing for site assigned.
- CCTV and Access control audits and reports.
- Manage Clear ID system globally for all assistance on requests of visits booking or approving visits with the respective requestors.
- Ensure Access control user details are always updated.
- Completes projects on a timely basis as assigned by TL if any.
- Proactively work on maintenance of all critical equipment’s and ensure zero breakdown.
- Work with IT and DCO team for seamless upkeep of Data centre and server rooms.
- Ensure any maintenance issues w.r.t CCTV & Access control that have been identified are logged on the maintenance system and dealt with by contacting the relevant supplier. Pursue issues until completed.
- To be available on scheduled shift timelines to assist with call outs and emergency situations as they arise. Provide the operations of 24/7 Security Operation Centre, including access provisioning, in accordance to Sophos requirements
- To support the office project process. To work with contractors on-site, ensuring the site is fully informed of the schedule of works being undertaken and report weekly on progress.
- Work as part of the team to ensure safety of SOPHOS employees, site guests and contractors.
- Carry out necessary risk assessment & audits to and provide effective Health and Safety advice.
- To undertake any other responsibilities that are required to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Monitor and action service requests for facilities and Health and safety, allocating to the correct workflow -if required.
