**The opportunity**:
This is a hands-on individual contributor role, wherein you would not be managing any people, but would be responsible for driving the technical excellence for the quality team. You will be responsible for setting the QA best practices for everyone in the organization, and defining the QA automation strategy for the organization.

**What will you be doing?**
- Have complete technical ownership of the QA automation efforts within Simpplr
- Ensure that QA automation is an integral part of our CI/CD process, and we are able to ship code to production daily
- Involved in hands on coding/implementation of automation tests, implementing new test frameworks, and improving the existing ones
- Recruit, hire, scale and act as a leader for a growing QA automation team.

**What makes you a great fit for us?**
- 12+ years of overall experience in software testing or development
- 10+ years of experience in automation testing
- Expertise in designing & implementing automation frameworks ground up
- Experience in testing for localisation and internationalization
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Appium is a must
- Good programming skills & understanding of Java
- Good knowledge of API testing tools like REST Assured, JMeter and Postman
- Proficiency with SQL & relational databases
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Prior experience in leading & mentoring a small team of testers
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
