Key responsibilities
- **Sample testing**: Collect and test samples from the production line (e.g., every 30 minutes) to check parameters like brix, pH, or other quality indicators.
- **Quality assurance**: Ensure the final product meets quality standards and is released to the warehouse after sensory evaluation.
- **Equipment monitoring**: Monitor and check the calibration of lab and production equipment, such as carbonation retention testers and mixers.
- **Process monitoring**: Continuously monitor key process variables like syrup brix at the mixer or check the last bottle off the line.
- **Hygiene and sanitation**: Perform and monitor Cleaning in Place (CIP) procedures for mixers and fillers, and ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other hygiene norms are followed.
- **Documentation**: Record all test results and data accurately in line control log sheets and maintain detailed records of activities.
- **Problem-solving**: Work with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve any quality issues that arise during the production process.
- **Material inspection**: Inspect and release raw materials and packaging materials before they enter the production line.
- **Safety compliance**: Ensure all operations comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
