**Job Title**: Pre-Primary Teacher
**Location**: Canary International Preschool, Mohammedwadi, Pune

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct engaging and age-appropriate teaching activities for preschool children.
- Prepare and implement monthly **theme-based lesson plans** and decorate the classroom accordingly.
- Step in as a substitute for fellow teachers during absences to ensure smooth functioning.
- Participate in **staff meetings, parent-teacher interactions, workshops, and training programs**.
- Assist in planning and organizing school events such as **Sports Day, Annual Day, and festivals**.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic classroom environment and monitor overall school cleanliness.
- Collaborate with teaching and support staff to **proactively plan and prepare for daily activities**.
- Foster strong relationships with parents by maintaining an **open-door communication policy**.
- Represent the school to prospective parents, explaining our **curriculum, teaching methodology, and values** from a teacher's perspective.
- Minimum **3 years of teaching experience** in pre-primary or primary classes.
- **Graduate** in any stream with a **preferred teaching qualification** (ECCE/NTT/PPTTC or equivalent).
- Excellent **English communication**, writing, and presentation skills; Marathi fluency is an advantage.
- Energetic, self-motivated, creative, and process-oriented.
- Basic computer literacy is required.
- Pleasant personality, patient, and able to interact politely with children, parents, and staff.
- Residing within a reasonable commuting distance from Mohammedwadi, Pune.
