The Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, execution, and completion of interior design projects. This individual will coordinate with designers, architects, vendors, and clients to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The role involves managing project schedules, procurement, communication with stakeholders, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the project.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Project Coordination**:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of interior design projects from concept to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, while meeting client expectations.
- **Client and Stakeholder Communication**:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Regularly update clients on project progress, address their queries, and ensure their requirements are met.
- Facilitate communication between designers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- **Vendor and Contractor Management**:
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and monitoring vendor performance.
- Oversee procurement processes and ensure all project resources are available when needed.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, budgets, schedules, and design plans.
- Prepare progress reports, track project milestones, and present updates to senior management.
- Ensure all documentation complies with legal and company requirements.
- **Quality Control**:
- Monitor work progress and ensure that the design and execution meet quality and safety standards.
- Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to design plans and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
- **Problem-Solving and Support**:
- Identify potential project risks and coordinate solutions to mitigate delays or issues.
- Provide administrative support to project teams, including scheduling meetings, tracking project expenses, and coordinating team activities.
**Required Qualifications**:
- **Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**:
- 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in interior design or construction.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- **Skills**:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, etc.).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of procurement and vendor management processes.
- **Other Requirements**:
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage high-pressure situations.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
**Working Conditions**:
- This role may involve a combination of office work and on-site visits.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
