**Job Description**:
This position is a senior Oracle and Oracle Exadata Database Administrator (DBA)

in a dedicated database administration team, which provides 7x24 support in test/prod environments.

The DBA is mainly responsible for maintaining highly visible production databases.

Responsibilities include designing, installing, upgrading, patching, tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting databases with large amounts of data (Terabytes) and high transaction rates (10K+ tps).

Capacity planning, SQL analysis, schema revisions, security administration and user account maintenance are also required tasks. Immediate participation in an active on call rotation required.

**Required Skills**:
Needs a minimum of 7-10 years with Oracle databases with RAC/ASM requiring the following skills:

- Oracle 21c/19c/12c/11g RDBMS, Oracle 21c/19c/12c RAC, OEM 12c/13c, RMAN, Oracle Dataguard (Physical and Active), Golden Gate
- Operating Systems: Linux (Red hat, OEL) must, Solaris, AIX, Windows
- Hardware environments: Exadata, Exalogic/PCA, ZDLRA, ZFS, Bigdata Appliance.
- Programming Language(s): SQL, PL/SQL, C, C++, Shell Scripting, Python, XML, Ansible, puppet etc.
- Understanding on Exadata machine (X8, X7, X6), preferably earlier worked on Oracle databases running Exadata.
- Able to work on performance tuning and able to analyze AWR reports, sqlhc reports, SQL plan, SQL tuning, SQL profiles etc. and able efficiently used OEM, SQL developer and TOAD for database etc.
- Familiar with Accident and problem management, snow, and ticketing system.
- Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
- Teamwork & collaboration skills to work across organizations and lead cross-functional teams.
- Communication & stakeholder management skills
- Problem solving skills to develop quick yet sound solutions to resolve complex issues.

Preferred Skills:

- Able to support very large database of size 200TB is plus.
- Familiar with gdbclone and used in earlier projects.
- Worked on Smart Scan or Cell Offloading, Storage Indexes, Hybrid Columnar Compression, IO Resource Manager, Smart Flash Cache, Flash Logging., Advanced Security, Data Audit Vault.
- Had worked on Exadata Storage Server (Cell Server).
- Preferred who already worked on Ebusiness Suites, OBIEE, Hyperion, SOA, Oracle Middleware, OEM 13, Oracle Identity Management etc.
- Understanding Hadoop is big plus.
