Java - Microservice-fullstack

Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

10+ years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Your roles and responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environment and co-ordination among multiple support groups.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and propose Architecture
- Lead a team technically and ensure quality delivery
- Perform unit testing for the developed code
- Support SIT, UAT during testing

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years of Java experience.
- Experience in leading a team, proposing design and architecture.
- Expert in Core Java, Collection Framework, exception handling, logging frameworks, Web Service: SOAP
- Should have very good knowledge and also experience in Struts, Spring and ORM tools like Hibernate, JPA
- Should have experience in Code review tools like pmd, Sonar, Checkstyle
- Should have experience in writing unit testing using Junit, Jmock, DBUnit, etc.
- Should have experience in writing build scripts using ant, maven
- Should be able to understand complex SQL queries, query optimization and tuning
- Exposure to any cloud environment is preferable
- Moderate experience on Unix, shell scripting
- Experience in RESTful API
- Customer facing experience w.r.to technical discussions

**Optional**
- Experience in Jasper, Quartz etc., are added advantage

**Team Handling/Generic skills**
- Self-driven, ready to learn and adopt depending on customer / organization needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Good working understanding of investment/custodian banking exposure for financial institutions preferable
- Should be able to work in Agile model and some exposure to Agile will be preferable
