**Senior Jewellery Designer**

**Job Overview**

An innovative and creative individual with excellent people skills, has a passion for designing and having hands on experience in making exquisite Jewellery designs. Must be able to relate well to clients in order to understand design specifications, as well as have creative and practical skills, knowledge and experience to make a product. Should Possess In Depth Knowledge of precious metals, diamonds, beads and gemstones to create wearable pieces of art and also create one-of-a-kind pieces for high-end customer’s.

The position will report to the New Product Design Head and will be based at Corporate Office, UAE.

**Key Operational Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for taking up requests from customers if they would like to purchase personalized jewelleries & sketch the desired design to make the jewellery.
- Communicate with the customers to identify if he/she is satisfied with the design and remodel if necessary, as per the client’s requirements. Make a variety of designs that are attractive enough for the clients.
- Study, design and prepare innovative jewellery ideas using sketches and technically sound drawings using computer or on paper.
- Identify with expertise and design innovative and attractive jewellery pieces in accordance with brand aesthetics along with target cost points.
- Design jewellery commensurate to precise price points after knowing goods cost and pricing level.
- Develop designs complying with creative, functional, timeline and financial goals as specified by brand.
- Ensure to complete projects as per product development guidelines and on time.
- Research, identify and forecast market jewellery trends and arrange materials accordingly.
- Have strong colour and trend sense to interpret jewellery concepts and ideas.
- Review and correct products for technical accuracy from first prototype to end for client approval.
- Bring in fresh, new and Innovative Ideas in Jewellery Designs, Support the Production Team in the Manufacturing Process and maintain good relation with the vendors.

**Preferred Competencies**
- Proven work experience as a Jewellery Designer
- Preferred Experience: 5 - 8 Years Relevant Experience
- Preferred Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or Post Graduation in Jewellery Designing.
- Relevant experience in Retail Jewellery Industry preferred
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to create designs for different styles & occasions
- Up to date with all fashion trends in Jewellery.

**Job Type**: Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:
