**Key Responsibilities**:

- **VAT Return Preparation**:Prepare and file VAT returns accurately and timely for various jurisdictions.
- **Statistical Reporting**:Compile and analyze data for statistical reporting requirements.
- **Compliance Review**:Assist in conducting compliance reviews to ensure adherence to local and international tax regulations.
- **Data Management**:Maintain and update tax-related data in internal systems.
- **Client Interaction**:Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on compliance matters.
- **Support Senior Staff**:Assist senior team members with research, analysis, and other tasks as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Background**:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or a related field.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player with a people-oriented approach
- **Experience**:Previous internship or work experience in tax compliance or a related field is a plus but not required.
