Gold Appraiser

The **Gold Appraiser** is responsible for accurately evaluating the purity, weight, and value of gold and other precious metals brought in by customers. The role requires technical expertise, honesty, and attention to detail to ensure fair transactions and maintain customer trust in accordance with company policies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Examine and appraise gold and other precious metal items using standard testing methods such as acid test, magnet test, and XRF machine.
- Weigh and record gold accurately using certified weighing machines.
- Assess the purity and market value of items based on the daily bullion rates.
- Clearly communicate the valuation process and price to customers in a transparent and professional manner.
- Maintain detailed records of each transaction, including KYC documentation and valuation reports.
- Ensure all appraisals follow company standards, fraud prevention protocols, and compliance norms.
- Handle cash and digital transactions responsibly and reconcile daily appraisals with branch reports.
- Keep updated on current gold prices, market trends, and appraisal techniques.
- Assist the branch team in overall operations and customer service when required.
- Uphold the company’s reputation for fairness, accuracy, and integrity in all dealings.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
