**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Delivery**:

- Plan and deliver comprehensive English language and literature lessons based on the CBSE syllabus for Classes XI and XII.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, including lectures, discussions, group activities, and multimedia resources.
- **Student Assessment**:

- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare and administer examinations, assignments, and projects as per CBSE guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create and maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to ensure discipline and order.
- Foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay abreast of the latest developments in English language teaching and literature.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the school's professional learning community.
- **Extracurricular Activities**:

- Participate in and contribute to school events, such as literary competitions, debates, and cultural programs.
- Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities to develop their communication and leadership skills.
- Help to organize and run any english related clubs or societies.
- **Parent Communication**:

- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and performance.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and provide feedback on student academic and behavioral development.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Complete assigned administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Master's degree in English Literature or related field.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree is mandatory.
- CTET/STET qualification is desirable.
- Proven experience teaching English at the senior secondary level (CBSE curriculum).
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
