**Locations**:Vijaypura, Kalaburgi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Raichur, Shivamogga, Haveri, Karwar, Davanagere, Chitradurga, Mysuru, Madikeri, Chamarajanagar, Mandya, Ramanagara.

**PURPOSE**:The District Program Associate plays a vital role in implementing key phases of the mentoring program, with equal focus on facilitating group mentoring sessions. They collaborate with DCTE Colleges in at least 3 allocated districts to build partnerships and engage interested students as mentees. The role involves independently conducting periodic group mentoring sessions as well as coordinating with local volunteer mentors to deliver the sessions. The Associate also supports the screening and selection process of mentees before they are matched with mentors.

**EXPERIENCE**: 1 - 4 years of relevant experience (in education, social work, community development, youth development or related fields)

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- ** Forge and maintain partnerships with corporate or other professional organizations. Drive these partnerships to provide a pipeline of mentors and mentees per the need of the program.**
- ** Manage weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting** for designated partners.
- ** Support and select mentee applicants through to successful mentorship**
- ** Follow-up with designated mentee applicants** during their pre-eligibility processes.
- ** Interview mentees and clarify program questions**as per the program goals.
- ** Each project associate will also be responsible for conducting sessions in 35-40 colleges across their districts. They will have to travel to designated colleges across 3 to 4 districts as per project requirements.**
- These sessions will be for students in Government Degree, Polytechnic, and Engineering colleges on specific topics of career readiness for future jobs ready skills.
- ** Collecting data**: Collect data from participants in sessions through surveys and interviews. Conduct interviews with college staff and relevant stakeholders.
- ** Reporting**:Compile and report collected information to the respective project manager/lead.

- Ability to do root cause analysis of the problem and present the solutions covering all the factors analyzed.

- ** Spoken and written fluency in Kannada, Hindi or Telugu preferred.**
