Mindshare is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are looking at experienced professionals to join our purple family in various roles under either Client Leadership/Digital/Strategy/Trading function. In this role, you will be responsible for helping brands in their marketing and business objectives by understanding consumers to provide solutions which are data driven using digital & technology.

This role reports to: Director - Client Leadership/Digital/Strategy/Trading

**In this role, your goals will be**:
**In three months**:

- Understanding the media landscape
- Getting well versed with media tools & platforms through trainings and certifications

**In six months**:

- Understand the category and brand objectives
- Understand and take initiative towards team/agency goal for the year

**In 12 months**:

- Build high credibility with the team and the client
- Initiated & delivered at least 2 key projects

**What your day job looks like at Mindshare within each of the roles**:
**Client Leadership**
- Provide strategic communications & planning leadership on your set of brands
- Help build effective media interventions on the back of strong Communication planning
- Act as a senior level contact for the client and have a strong understanding of cross channel media strategy. Should be able to lead strategic conversations on Media and communication planning
- Develop creative ideas and disruptive communication innovations for the client, aligned with their business, customer, and brand goals.

**Strategy**
- Be an integral member of the team that works on the annual marketing strategies along with the Client Leadership team and specialist units
- Participate in the Integrated Planning process
- Participate in thought leadership projects across clients
- Drive consumer understanding to draw insights that impact our client’s businesses
- Keep abreast of media innovations and developments and find links to enrich brand plans
- Writing entries for media and other awards
- Actively involved in new business pitches

**Buying/Trading**
- Help team with market intelligence & structured data which help in structuring better deals
- To collate ratings and generate MIS reports on program performance, channel shares
- Assist in production of post buy reports, CPRP reports and quarterly reviews
- Negotiate position upgrades during execution
- Actively contribute towards innovation idea generation
- Assist in sponsorship negotiations and management
- Negotiate inventory availability and block as required as per deal
- Compliance against internal / External Audit for your set of accounts

**Digital**
- Develop digital media plans and approach basis consumer insights and digital media dynamics
- Proactively identify new opportunities and pitch innovative ideas
- Deliver media plans, campaign scheduling
- Define campaign KPIs and continuously plan optimization to deliver maximum ROI
- Review campaign performance
- Dashboard execution level experience on Google Ads, DV360 or Facebook Ads Manager
- Maintain MIS for billing, estimates, ROs, etc.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- 2-5 years of experience in a marketing/sales/digital/technology role in media or non-media firms including start-ups, tech firms
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred
- Graduate/Postgraduate in marketing preferred
- Effective communication skills
