Overview of the Role and Requirements

1. Part-Time Faculty Member - Biology Academic & NEET Faculty is responsible for effectively running classes for students in all batches assigned to him/her. He/she will be accountable for student performance and learning gains of students. The role of a faculty member primarily involves

2. Prepare for and teach students: Prepare a lesson plan for each class, ensure an engaging and lively classroom. The faculty member should be multidimensional and will be ready to teach from 9-12, NEET Biology to CBSE, ICSE & State Board students in regular Batches as per the demand of the situation.

3. Track student work: Keep a regular tab on the progress, work (in class and homework) and test scores of students in all batches he/she is teaching.

4. Classroom management: Set expectations and manage the behavior of students in each classroom he/she teaches to ensure that decorum is maintained while creating an enjoyable student-friendly atmosphere

5. Student doubt solving: Be available for solving doubts of students whenever required, outside classroom hours, if needed

6. Mentoring students: Interact with students one-on-one to motivate and mentor them; especially those who are assigned as your mentees by the program manager or the center coordinator

7. Interaction with parents: Be present to discuss student performance with parents

8. Open for new ideas/inputs: One should be free to put up his/her ideas and create an environment for others to work as a team

**Requirements**:
1, The ideal teacher is someone who has a passion to learn and work in the education field. Have knowledge of CBSE, ICSE, ISC, Board's curriculum and well absorbed with different concepts.

3. Not excellent but have to have basic communication and teaching skills

4. A belief that all students can learn

5. Ability to connect with, inspire and motivate students
