**Job Description: Assistant Professor of Physiotherapy (Sports)**

**Responsibilities**:
**Teaching and Curriculum Development**: Deliver engaging and informative lectures, workshops, and practical sessions to undergraduate and graduate students in the field of sports physiotherapy. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the physiotherapy curriculum, ensuring alignment with the latest industry trends and research.

**Research and Scholarship**: Pursue independent and collaborative research projects related to sports physiotherapy. Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences to contribute to the field's knowledge base. Encourage and mentor students in their research endeavors.

**Clinical Practice Integration**: Facilitate clinical placements and internships for students, fostering their practical skills and exposure to real-world sports physiotherapy settings. Collaborate with local sports organizations, teams, and clinics to enhance students' clinical experiences.

**Student Mentorship**: Provide guidance and support to students by serving as an academic advisor, assisting in career development, and offering insights into the sports physiotherapy profession.

**Professional Engagement**: Stay updated with the latest advancements in sports physiotherapy through continuous professional development, attending workshops, seminars, and relevant industry events. Contribute to the broader academic and professional community through participation in committees and organizations.

**Administrative Duties**: Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and assessment activities. Assist in administrative tasks related to program management and accreditation requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- A doctoral degree (Ph.D., DPT, or equivalent) in Physiotherapy, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in sports physiotherapy through clinical experience and/or research publications.
- A track record of effective teaching and mentorship at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
- Active involvement in relevant professional associations and networks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.

**Salary**: Up to ₹1,000,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Faridabad, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Doctorate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Assistant Professor Physiotherapy: 3 years (required)
