**Responsibilities**:
**Typical Day in the Life of a Finance & Compliance Associate**

The Finance Associate will support the accounts, finance, and compliance functions of the India office. This role is ideal for individuals with 5+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, who are looking to grow their career in a dynamic environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for company accounts.
- Assist in monthly closure, service invoices, and MIS reports.
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements as per Indian GAAP.
- Assist in tax compliance, including timely payment of taxes and preparation of returns (Income Tax, GST, PF, PT, ESIC).
- Collaborate with external auditors for statutory audits, tax audits, and GST audits.
- Handle daily treasury functions, including sending timely requests for funds, vendor payments, payroll, utility payments and employee reimbursements. Bank reconciliation and follow-up on FIRCs, Credit Card statements.
- Assist in bank reconciliations and follow up on FIRCs (Foreign Inward Remittance Certificates).
- Maintain the fixed assets register and depreciation accounting. Coordination for timely verification of assets & variance analysis and accounting.
- Collaborate with external consultants for secretarial, ROC, and FEMA compliances.
- Office Insurance management
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
**Who you are**
- BCOM/MCOM with 5+ years of relevant experience in finance / accounting fields.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and other MS Office tools.
- Understanding of income tax laws (TDS, advance tax) and GST regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and basic knowledge of labour laws and compliance is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
