To be successful as a "AVP - Attestations - BX India", you should have experience with: **Basic/ Essential Qualifications**: Chartered Accountant / Graduate / Masters in Business Administration with experience in risk-based auditing. Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CIA, MIIA, ACCA, ACA, CISA) Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to business stakeholders. Practical understanding of relevant regulatory environment. Proven track record of high performance in previous roles. Proven track record of high performance in previous roles to include senior Auditee management. **Desirable skillsets/ good to have**: Financial services industry knowledge on Corporate Banking, Private Banking and Wealth Management Knowledge or experience of identifying opportunities for using data to enhance audit testing. This role will be based out of Pune. **Purpose of the role** To support the development of audits aligned to the bank’s standards and objectives by working collaboratively with colleagues, providing accurate information and recommendations, and complying with policies and procedures. **Accountabilities** - Audit development and delivery support, including financial statements, accounting practices, operational processes, IT systems and risk management. - Identification of operational risks to support the delivery of the Barclays Internal Audit (BIA) Audit Plan through risk assessments. - Assessment of internal control effectiveness and their capability to identify and mitigate risk aligned to regulatory requirements. - Communication of key findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including the Audit Owner, senior managers and directors. - Identification of regulatory news and industry trends/developments to provide timely insight and recommendations for best practice. **Assistant Vice President Expectations** - To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
