Job Description: Boys Hostel Warden (Vishrantwadi, Pune)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Boys Hostel Warden to oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure a safe, supportive, and enriching living environment for the residents at our hostel located in Vishrantwadi, Pune. The Boys Hostel Warden will play a crucial role in fostering a positive living experience for the students while upholding discipline and enforcing hostel rules.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Hostel Management: Oversee all aspects of hostel management, including the accommodation, cleanliness, and maintenance of the premises, ensuring a comfortable living environment for residents.

2. Resident Support: Be approachable and supportive to the residents, addressing their concerns, and providing guidance or assistance as needed.

3. Safety and Security: Maintain a vigilant approach to the safety and security of the hostel, implementing measures to ensure the well-being of all residents.

4. Discipline Enforcement: Enforce hostel rules and policies fairly and consistently, addressing any disciplinary issues promptly and appropriately.

5. Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, managing resident databases, and maintaining relevant documentation.

6. Supervision: Supervise and coordinate hostel staff, ensuring their adherence to responsibilities and providing necessary training when required.

7. Event Coordination: Organize and supervise hostel events, programs, and activities to foster a sense of community and promote student engagement.

8. Liaison: Serve as a liaison between hostel management and students, as well as other relevant stakeholders.

9. Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle emergencies efficiently and ensure appropriate actions are taken in critical situations.

**Requirements**:
1. Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred.

2. Experience: Prior experience in hostel management, student affairs, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.

3. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, staff, and management.

4. Leadership: Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities to handle various situations effectively.

5. Patience and Empathy: Display patience, empathy, and understanding while dealing with students and their concerns.

6. Multitasking: Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities to efficiently manage the hostel's daily operations.

7. Team Player: Collaborative and cooperative approach to work with other staff members and support the overall hostel community.

8. Flexibility: Be open to working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to address hostel needs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: From ₹8,189.43 per month

Schedule:

- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
