**Position Title**: Fanuc Robot Programmer

**Job Type**: FULL TIME

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Robot Programming**: Write, modify, and optimize programs for Fanuc robots using **Teach Pendant** and **Karel programming** language to automate tasks like material handling, welding, assembly, and painting.
- **System Integration**: Integrate Fanuc robots with other equipment such as PLCs, vision systems, sensors, conveyors, and other automation systems to ensure seamless operation.
- **Troubleshooting and Diagnostics**: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with robotic systems, including both hardware and software faults. Perform diagnostics and repair tasks to ensure systems run smoothly.
- **Robot Optimization**: Optimize robot paths and routines for maximum efficiency, minimizing cycle times while maintaining safety and precision.
- **Maintenance and Upgrades**: Perform regular maintenance on robotic systems, including the replacement of parts and upgrading of software as needed. Implement system enhancements for performance improvement.
- **Technical Support**: Provide technical assistance to the production team, including troubleshooting robotic operations, assisting with setup, and guiding on safety procedures.
- **Documentation**: Maintain clear, accurate, and detailed documentation of robot programs, system configurations, maintenance logs, and troubleshooting processes.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with production managers, engineers, and maintenance teams to improve production processes, ensure quality control, and meet production schedules.
- **Training**: Conduct training sessions for other operators and staff on the safe operation of robots, troubleshooting, and best practices for robotic automation.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: A degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, relevant technical certifications or training in robotics will be considered.
- **Experience**: Minimum of [1.5] years of experience in programming Fanuc robots (such as Fanuc R-30iB, M-10iA, etc.) in a manufacturing or automation environment.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in **Fanuc robot programming languages** (Teach Pendant, Karel, and others).
- Experience with **Fanuc RoboGuide** simulation software.
- Strong knowledge of robot control systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and integration with peripheral devices (sensors, vision systems).
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to robotic systems, including both hardware and software.
- Understanding of robotic safety standards and ability to implement safety measures in robotic setups.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry robotic components
- Comfort working in industrial environments, including exposure to machinery, robotic arms, and controlled workspaces.
- Capability to perform tasks that require manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

**Additional Requirements**:

- **Certifications**: Fanuc-specific certifications (e.g., **Fanuc Certified Robot Programmer**) or similar credentials are a plus.
- **Experience**: Experience working with other robotic systems (e.g., ABB, KUKA) is beneficial but not mandatory.
- **Travel**: Willingness to travel occasionally to support system installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting (if needed).
- **Work Schedule**: Flexibility to work overtime or on weekends, if required, to meet production deadlines or resolve technical issues.
