Job Description: Hadoop Administrator
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Data Analysis**:
- Analyse large datasets stored in Hadoop to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable recommendations.
- **Cluster Monitoring**:
- Monitor the health, connectivity, and performance of the Hadoop cluster using tools like Apache Ambari and Tivoli.
- Manage and review Hadoop log files for troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- **Data Management**:
- Ensure data integrity and quality by managing backups and loading missing files as required.
- Maintain an operational error tracker to document and resolve data issues.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with Hadoop and familiarity with its ecosystem components.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Cognos).
- Knowledge of data backup and recovery processes.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience with performance tuning in Hadoop.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
