**Job Overview**:
**Assistant Professor Department of Data Science & Analytics**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Designing and delivering courses related to data science and analytics at the undergraduate and/ post graduate levels.
- Developing course materials, such as syllabus, lecture notes, assignments, and exams.
- Mentoring and advising students, including supervising research projects and theses.
- Conducting original research in data science and analytics, which may involve areas such as machine learning, data mining, statistical analysis, big data technologies, etc.
- Publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals and presenting them at academic conferences.
- Serving on departmental or university committees.
- Participating in academic conferences, workshops, and seminars.
- Engaging with the broader academic and professional community through activities such as reviewing papers for journals and conferences, organizing events, or serving as a mentor to junior faculty or students.

**Qualifications**:

- PhD in Computer Science / Data science
- Minimum 1-6 years of proven practical experience.
