**Job Summary**

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated **Trained Graduate Teacher** for **Social Science**to join our dynamic educational team. In this influential role, you will have the opportunity to inspire and shape the minds of young learners, guiding them through their formative years.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparing daily and long-term lesson plans according to curriculum guidelines (Classes 6th to 10th).
- Assess students’ progress through assignments, tests, and regular evaluations and communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, behavior, and overall development.
- Developing children’s interests, abilities and coordination using a variety of creative activities.
- Attending staff meetings, school concerts, and training and development sessions.
- Graduation in the discipline of Social science with a minimum of 50% marks with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teacher training qualification from a recognized university.
- Minimum three years of experience as a Social science teacher from recognized CBSE schools.
- Ability to engage and motivate learners by integrating technology into teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

## Responsibilities:

- They are expected to update themselves in terms of technology, changes in curriculum of CBSE and create a conducive, congenial and safe environment for the learners to embark of new learning.
- Maintain all the mandatory records as per the demands of both school and statutory and regulatory bodies.
- Will establish a good rapport with Students, Parents and Colleagues.
- Should contribute towards Co-curricular, Extra-Curricular and Sport and games activities besides delivering the academics.

Post-Graduate Degree with B. Ed or equivalent along with experience in handling **Social Science** for Classes 6th standard to 10th standard**.**

PSG Public Schools is a co-educational high school located on the Avinashi Road, Peelamedu, Coimbatore, India. The school was founded in 2002. The senior school was inaugurated in 2009. It educates students from Pre-KG through to the 12th Grade. PSG teaches to the Central Board of Secondary Education.
