**Job Title**: Confectioner / Sweet Maker
**Location**: Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh
**Salary**: ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 per month (based on experience and skill)
**Job Type**: Full-time
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare a variety of Indian sweets (mithai) such as laddoo, barfi, peda, gulab jamun, rasgulla, etc.
- Ensure high quality, taste, and presentation of all products.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Manage raw material usage and reduce wastage.
- Work with kitchen staff and assist in new recipe development.
- Follow safety standards and food handling guidelines.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in sweet/confectionery making.
- Expertise in preparing a range of Indian sweets.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
- Ability to work in a team and handle pressure during peak hours.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Prior work experience in a sweet shop, hotel, or food production unit.
- Creativity in sweet innovation and presentation.
- Basic knowledge of costing and inventory is a plus.
**Working Hours**:
- 8 to 10 hours per day, 6 days a week
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
