**DEFINITION**

The Podcast Editor is responsible for producing high-quality, engaging long-form video content, specifically editing for podcasts. This position requires proficiency in Adobe Suite for video editing, focusing on crafting compelling narratives by editing multiple guest angles and incorporating effective intros. The role demands a high level of creativity and technical skill to maintain consistency and excellence in video and audio production.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Edit long-form videos by managing various guest angles and integrating intros that capture the audience’s attention.
- Sound ISO and color grading each raw asset before the editing process begins
- Removing any out of place cuts or background distractions from the final video asset
- Delivering a draft and then revising any additional changes based on GRYT Media’s feedback
- Ensure a consistent and appealing aesthetic across all podcast visuals.
- Impressive portfolio demonstrating podcast editing expertise
- Experience in digital marketing, particularly in the US
- Exceptional proofreading skills

**ADDITIONAL CAPABILITIES**
- Oversee the complete video production process from concept development to the final output, adhering to strict deadlines and quality guidelines.
- Optimize video content for SEO to enhance online visibility and engagement.
- Produce comprehensive show notes that accompany each podcast episode.
- Design captivating thumbnails that draw viewers to each episode.

- Advanced expertise in video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere.
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong creative vision and meticulous attention to detail.
