Embedded Architect

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Analyse specifications, architect solutions for bare metal and/OR RTOS based embedded systems-based products.
- Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirement.
- Develop test plans for unit testing, integration and verifying functionality.
- Implement best coding practices and code guaranteeing process within the department.
- Mentor developers to design and deliver high-quality C code in a real-time embedded environment.
- Work with our partners across the globe to ensure that the firmware systems are scalable.
- Refactor the existing code to make the product performant, robust, maintainable, extensible in that order.

**Qualifications**:

- 8+ years of relevant experience working in embedded projects of various complexities.
- Worked on multiple 32-bit microcontrollers like STM, TI, ESP32 and microprocessors (ARM A series and ARM7/9 series)
- Worked on projects containing more than one microcontroller.
- Used real time operating system (FreeRTOS, Threadx, Zephyr) etc.
- Have experience integrating sensors using communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART.
- Has experience with device communication protocols like CAN, J1939, RS485.
- Experience with IOT protocols like MQTT, HTTP, TCP/UDP.
- Experience with Bluetooth/BLE.
- Has managed a team of minimum 6 engineers, worked on code reviews, refactoring, unit testing, code coverage, code performance, static analysis, code debugging and tracing.
- Has worked in an Agile environment.
- Has experience documenting software requirements, architecture, and test procedures.
- Preferable to have worked with Chinese Manufacturers, IC vendors.
