The **Purchase Executive** is responsible for managing the procurement process within an organization. This role involves sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of goods and services, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and quality assurance in line with company requirements. The Purchase Executive plays a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and managing inventory levels to support operational efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Procurement & Sourcing**:

- Source suppliers for required goods and services, evaluating suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery capabilities.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
- Evaluate and select vendors based on reliability, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- **Order Management**:

- Place purchase orders based on production or inventory requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders and coordinate with suppliers to address any delays or issues.
- Monitor and follow up on order status to ensure timely receipt and correct quantities of goods.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Track inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse or production teams to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Maintain records of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
- Conduct periodic stock audits to ensure accurate inventory records.
- **Supplier Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Resolve any supplier issues, including discrepancies in order deliveries, damaged goods, or quality concerns.
- Coordinate with suppliers for returns or exchanges as necessary.
- **Cost Control & Budgeting**:

- Monitor and evaluate procurement costs to ensure spending aligns with budget constraints.
- Propose cost-saving strategies through negotiations or sourcing alternative suppliers.
- Ensure all purchases are compliant with company policies and regulations.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchase transactions and supplier correspondence.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis and supplier performance.
- **Compliance & Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements related to procurement.
- Conduct quality checks and assessments to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 1-2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
- **Knowledge**:

- Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control principles.
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in a specific industry (e.g., manufacturing, retail, healthcare, etc.).
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS - Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply).
- Knowledge of market trends and supplier dynamics.

**Working Conditions**
- Full-time position, with standard office hours.
- Occasional travel to suppliers' locations or company sites as required.
- May involve handling some manual tasks like reviewing product samples or packaging.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
