**Your day-to-day responsibilities include**:

- SQL Server DBA with additional knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB DBA
- Perform DBA support tasks for primarily MS SQL databases additionally MySQL/MariaDB databases
- Tasks include Jira tickets
- Daily Health checks
- Service pack and Security patching for databases
- Backup and Recovery
- Maintenance tasks
- AlwaysON setup, monitoring and troubleshooting
- Replication Setup, monitoring and troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot and Resolve critical database incidents during and post business hours
- Perform database migration and upgrades
- Performance Tuning
- DR Drills
- Table Partitioning
- Bring your passion to try out and use Leading Edge technologies and learn a lot in the process.

**Skills we can’t do without**:

- 4 to 6 yrs experience with SQL Server Database Administration
- Administration experience in MS SQL Server and MySQL
- You are familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- You have sophisticated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to explain complex concepts to colleagues and non-technical professionals.
- You are proficient in English, both verbal and written

- Computer Science Education (College, University)
- Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
