Preschool Teacher

Preschool Teacher Location: [Vasant Vihar]

Reports to: Preschool Director

Job Summary: PAC PreSchools is seeking passionate and dedicated Preschool Teachers to join our team. Our teachers are responsible for nurturing young minds, providing a safe and engaging learning environment, and preparing students for the next stage of their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Instruction and Curriculum:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development. - Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to address the needs of all students. - Incorporate play-based learning and hands-on activities to foster a love of learning.

2. Classroom Management: - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. - Establish and enforce rules for behaviour and procedures for maintaining order. - Monitor and assist with the safety and well-being of children at all times.

3. Assessment and Documentation: - Observe and assess children’s progress and development. - Maintain accurate records of each child’s progress and communicate with parents and guardians. - Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss children’s progress, needs, and achievements.

4. Collaboration and Communication: - Work collaboratively with other teachers, aides, and administrative staff. - Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding classroom activities, policies, and events. - Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

5. Health and Safety:

- Ensure a clean, healthy, and safe environment for children. - Follow all licensing guidelines and regulations regarding health and safety. - Administer basic first aid and address minor injuries.

6. Professionalism: - Demonstrate a commitment to the school’s mission, values, and goals. - Maintain confidentiality of children’s records and family information. - Stay current with early childhood education best practices and trends.

Qualifications: - Education: Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Certification: State teaching certification for early childhood education (if required by the state).
- Experience: Prior experience teaching preschool-aged children is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a positive learning environment.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift children, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods. Working Conditions: - Full-time position with regular school hours.

Occasional evening or weekend work for events, meetings, or training sessions. - Indoor and outdoor activities.

Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
