**Role overview**

The Admission Counsellor will counsel students and parents on PU programs,

manage the inquiry-to-enrolment lifecycle, and achieve monthly/seasonal admission

targets through high-quality guidance, systematic follow-ups, and on-campus event

support.

**Key responsibilities**
- Counsel prospective students and parents on PU streams (PCMB/PCMC/Commerce/Arts), eligibility, fees, scholarships, documentation, and timelines; recommend suitable combinations based on academic profile and goals.
- Coordinate and participate in admission events: school outreach, open houses, seminars, parent orientations, and result-day help desks.
- Collaborate with marketing to refine scripts, FAQs, and campaign messaging; provide feedback on lead quality and objections.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and ethical handling of information and payments; escalate special cases to the admissions head promptly.

**Required qualifications**
- Graduate in any discipline; certification or coursework in counselling/psychology/education is a plus.
- 2-3 years of experience in admissions counselling/academic counselling/inside sales within education (PU/college/coaching/K-12) with measurable conversion outcomes.
- Strong communication in English and Kannada; Hindi/Tamil/Telugu a plus.
- High empathy, objection handling, problem-solving, and stakeholder management with students, parents, and faculty.

**Preferred experience**
- Demonstrated success meeting monthly/seasonal enrolment targets and improving show-up and conversion rates.
- Experience running info sessions, campus tours, and school outreach; familiarity with Bengaluru PU market cycles and documentation requirements.
