Horticulturalist

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Plan and implement planting schedules for various crops and ornamental plants.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for planting, pruning, and maintaining plant health.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure adequate water supply for all plant life.
- Conduct regular inspections of plants to identify pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies.
- Oversee greenhouse operations including temperature control, humidity regulation, and pest management.
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, fertilizing, and weed control to maintain healthy turf.
- Collaborate with landscape teams to design and maintain aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces.
- Provide guidance on best practices for groundskeeping and garden maintenance.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in horticulture or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of plant species, growth requirements, and pest management techniques.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and landscape design principles.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address plant health issues promptly.
- A passion for sustainable gardening practices is highly desirable.
