**Key Responsibilities of a Fire Technician**: Installation: Installing and configuring fire alarm systems, ensuring proper operation and compliance with safety codes.
**Maintenance**: Regularly inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, and other fire safety equipment to ensure they are in working order.
**Repair**: Troubleshooting and repairing fire safety systems and equipment to address malfunctions and ensure functionality.
**Inspection**: Inspecting buildings for fire hazards, such as blocked exits, flammable liquids, or improperly stored materials, and recommending corrective actions.
**Testing**: Performing regular testing of fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, and other equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
**Compliance**: Ensuring that all fire safety systems and procedures comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
**Training**: Providing training to building occupants on fire safety procedures and the use of fire safety equipment.
**Documentation**: Maintaining records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs of fire safety systems and equipment.
