**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver comprehensive lessons in English literature and language, covering prose, poetry, drama, grammar, and writing skills in alignment with the CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum.
- Teach literary concepts and works from prescribed textbooks, guiding students through analysis, interpretation, and discussion of various texts.
- Prepare students for board exams by conducting regular assessments, providing feedback, and organizing mock exams.
- Focus on enhancing students' writing abilities, including essay writing, creative writing, comprehension, and letter writing.
- Encourage critical thinking, reading comprehension, and the ability to interpret and critique literary works.
- Help students improve their grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Provide individualized support to students who need extra help in understanding complex concepts.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in English teaching, literature, and board exam patterns.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school activities as required.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in English or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching English to senior secondary students, preferably Class 12.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum for English.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students in the study of literature and language.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and technology to enhance learning.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience preparing students for board exams with a focus on achieving high academic performance.
- Passion for literature, and ability to foster a love for reading and writing in students.
- Familiarity with both classical and contemporary literary works.
