Job Title: Primary Grade EVS (Environmental Studies) Teacher

Location: The Pride School, Hingna, Nagpur

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for Environmental Studies (EVS) in alignment with educational standards and school objectives.
- Design and deliver engaging lessons that incorporate hands-on activities, experiments, outdoor exploration, and multimedia resources to enhance students' understanding of environmental concepts.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing their ideas, asking questions, and participating in discussions related to environmental issues.
- Assess students' understanding of EVS topics through various methods, such as quizzes, projects, presentations, and observations, and provide constructive feedback to support their learning progress.
- Organize field trips, guest speaker presentations, and other experiential learning opportunities to broaden students' exposure to environmental issues and solutions.
- Promote environmental stewardship and sustainability practices within the school community through initiatives like recycling programs, garden projects, and energy conservation efforts.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share students' progress in EVS, solicit feedback, and provide resources for extending learning beyond the classroom.
- Stay informed about current environmental issues, research, and educational trends, and incorporate relevant content into curriculum updates and professional development activities.
- Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills, share best practices, and contribute to the overall school improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Strong knowledge of environmental science concepts, sustainability principles, and local ecology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- Creativity in designing interactive and experiential learning activities for diverse learning styles.
- Flexibility to adapt teaching strategies and materials based on student needs and interests.
- Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, administrators, parents, and community partners.
- Passion for environmental conservation and a desire to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
