Job Title - Assistant General Manager
- **Operations Job Summary**: Fully responsible for the day today management of the business as well as delivering the company objectives in interms of profitability, service, brand and future development and growth

**Role & Responsibilities**: - Responsible for day-to-day operations of Gear manufacturing plant - Responsible to achieve Revenue, EBITA & maintain strong Cash In Operation - Reporting to Managing Director / CEO on India - Lead the team of Production, Planning, Assembly & Service, Quality, Purchase, HR & Admin & EHS - Responsible for optimizing manpower, material, machines, methods of manufacturing - Ensuring product quality standards & driving continuous improvement activities - Develop strategies to make processes more profitable, lean & efficient - Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements and internal policies & procedures - Liaising with Marketing and Engineering teams regarding new enquires and developments - Leading weekly management review with Engineering / Purchase / Manufacturing & Quality - Monthly Strategic Meetings Management on Financial Performance & Forecasts, Enquiries, Bid & Booking, Production KPI’s, S&OP, SGA & EHS review - Responsible for capex expenditure budgeting, determining the short
- and long-term investment & strategies. - Working with HR & Admin department for monitor employee performance, identify training, Setting & reviewing Business objective & KPI’s of department heads - Knowledge in reviewing manufacturing processes & developing new methods & techniques, developing tooling, jigs and fixtures - Overseeing Supply Chain department in sourcing the vendors, evaluating and executing job on time with all quality requirements. Knowledge in sourcing of Casting, Fabrications, Machining of heavy components, Heat treatments etc. and achieve cost saving and best deal - Responsible for Stores incl maintaining minimum inventory for manufacturing, managing incoming and outgoing transportation - Knowledge in on gear manufacturing machines including installation, commissioning and maintenance. Responsible to keep the machine up and running - Knowledge in conventional like hobbing, HBM etc and CNC machines like gear grinding, VLT, CMM etc - Knowledge in disassembly and assembly of different type of gearbox in the factory - Knowledge in vibration analysis, oil sample analysis, nosie measurement, temperature measurement, pressure etc - Experience in executing on-site inspections, trouble shooting, service, refurbishment etc
- Knowledge in high speed gearboxes with journal bearings

- Previous work experience in gear industries

**Knowledge**: - Knowledge of SAP, APQP, CAPA, FMEA, 8D & WHY-WHY Analysis.
- Knowledge of 5S & TPM implementation.
- Defect Analysis and Root Cause analysis ability
- Should have exposure of ISO-TS Leadership and Man management.

**Experience**: Minimum 15-20 years of experience having expertise in Gear Industry.

**Education Requirement**: Mechanical Engineer with min 15 Year experience / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with min 20 Years experience

**Computer Skills**: Should be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Windows, Outlook and other basic skills.

**Languages**: Should be able to converse in local languages like English, Hindi, Tamil & Kannada. Should also be a good communicator specifically in English and understanding US/UK English.

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹3,200,000.00 per year
