**About Our Client**:
Our client is a manufacturing MNC, focusing on 3 different lines of businesses. Indian operations are ranked as one of the most profitable businesses within the Group globally.

As COO, you would be reporting to the MD. The key responsibilities would be as follows
- Oversee and manage all plant operations, ensuring efficient and profitable production
- Develop and implement strategies for high value production, leveraging knowledge of formulations and production processes
- Work closely with the R&D team to facilitate new product development, keeping in alignment with market trends and customer needs
- Provide exceptional technical service to customers, troubleshooting issues, answering technical inquiries, and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Use market insights to guide operational and strategic decisions, keeping abreast of the latest industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
- Ensure that all operations comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Manage a P&L and ensure top line and bottom line improvement
- Collaborate closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and R&D, to ensure alignment of divisional goals with overall company strategy

**The Successful Applicant**:
You are a Production Engineer with a minimum of 20 years of experience, working across different plant roles and have been heading operations for at least 3 years. Experience in FMCG, Consumer durables, specialty chemicals and capital goods is preferable.

P&L ownership is an added advantage.
