Solidwork Designer

**Job Title**: SolidWorks Designer/Engineer**

**Job Overview**:
The SolidWorks Designer/Engineer plays a crucial role in creating, designing, and optimizing products, components, and systems using SolidWorks software. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and ensure the successful execution of projects.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. **Product Design**: Create 2D and 3D models of products, parts, and assemblies using SolidWorks, taking into account design specifications, functionality, and manufacturability.

**2. **Prototype Development**: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop prototypes and test concepts, ensuring that designs meet performance and safety requirements.

**3. **CAD Modeling**: Produce accurate and detailed CAD drawings, including assembly drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes.

**4. **Design Modification**: Make design revisions and improvements as required, considering feedback from stakeholders and addressing any issues that arise during development.

**5. **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and industrial designers, to ensure seamless integration of designs into final products.

**6. **Technical Support**: Provide technical support to other team members, including engineers and drafters, regarding SolidWorks software and design-related queries.

**7. **Quality Control**: Perform design checks and reviews to ensure accuracy, adherence to standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

**8. **Material and Component Selection**: Assist in selecting appropriate materials and components for designs, considering factors like cost, availability, and performance.

**9. **Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive design documentation, including design change records, version control, and project files.

**10. **Continuous Learning**: Stay updated with the latest SolidWorks features and industry trends to improve design efficiency and effectiveness.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering**, product design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- **Proficiency in SolidWorks **and other CAD software at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in design work.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Excellent communication skills to convey design concepts and ideas effectively.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to product design (e.g., ASME, ISO).

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role or industry.
- Certification in SolidWorks or related CAD software.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
