**Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care**:

- Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments, including oral cancer screenings.
- Diagnose dental conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures, such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants.
- Administer local anesthesia and other medications as needed.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Refer patients to specialists as necessary.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Collaborate effectively with dental hygienists, assistants, and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in team meetings and discussions to improve clinic operations and patient outcomes.
- **Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and x-rays.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques through continuing education.
- Participate in professional organizations and conferences.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from an accredited dental school.
- Valid dental license in the state of practice.
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience as a practicing dentist, preferably in a general practice setting.
- Proficiency in performing a wide range of dental procedures.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in using dental equipment and technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
