1. Financial Management & Control
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting of all financial transactions across all schools in the group.
- Supervise and consolidate financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain robust internal financial controls and procedures across campuses.
- Oversee fee collection processes, ensure timely deposit, and monitor outstanding dues.
- Ensure strict control on expenses and adherence to approved budgets.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Prepare annual budgets for each school and consolidate them at the group level.
- Coordinate with school heads/principals to assess and forecast operational and capital expenditure needs.
- Track variances between actuals and budget; initiate corrective actions where necessary.
- Present financial projections for new school proposals or expansion plans.

3. Statutory Compliance & Audit
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with statutory requirements (GST, Income Tax, PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
- Liaise with auditors (statutory/internal) and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and readiness for any regulatory inspections or audits.
- Ensure filing of returns and timely payments of all taxes and government dues.

4. Fee & Revenue Management
- Oversee fee structure implementation as per the board and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor timely fee collection and develop mechanisms to reduce fee defaulters.
- Analyze revenue streams (e.g., tuition, transportation, extracurricular activities) for optimization.
- Ensure proper records of concessions, scholarships, or waivers provided.

5. Financial Reporting & MIS
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the management and Board of Trustees.
- Provide dashboards and MIS reports to support decision-making (school-wise, zone-wise, group level).
- Provide financial insights to the leadership team for strategic planning.

6. Vendor & Procurement Oversight
- Oversee vendor payments and ensure adherence to contractual terms.
- Participate in key procurement decisions and verify financial viability.
- Standardize vendor payment practices across all schools.

7. Risk Management
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor cash flows and ensure sufficient working capital availability.
- Evaluate insurance coverage and claims management for all schools.

8. Team Management & Systems
- Supervise accounts and finance staff across schools, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Train school-level accountants on policies, processes, and systems.
- Drive automation and digitization of financial operations using ERP/software platforms.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Chartered Accountant

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 1-5 years of progressive experience specifically in Education Sector

SALARY RANGE

salary will be commensurate with experience
