This position will be part of a growing team working towards building world class large scale Big Data architectures. This individual should have a sound understanding of programming principles, experience in programming in Java, Python or similar languages and can expect to spend a majority of their time coding.

**Work Experience **:3 - 5 Years

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Uphold good development practices and be a hands-on coder with proficiency in languages like Java, Python, C++, or Scala.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of programming principles and development practices including check-in policy, unit testing, and code deployment.
- Show initiative in grasping new concepts and technologies, translating them into large-scale engineering developments.
- Boast excellent experience in Application development and support, integration development, and data management.
- Align closely with key client initiatives and interface daily with customers across leading Fortune 500 companies.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies to maximize ROI for customers and the company.
- Design and implement APIs, abstractions, and integration patterns to address challenging distributed computing problems.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven work experience in a relevant field with a Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in functional and object-oriented programming, especially in Python or Scala.
- Effective communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Technical expertise in Spark, Hadoop, GCS Stack, Vertica, Snowflake, Druid.
- Experience in the Big Data domain, agile methodology, database modeling and development, data mining, and warehousing.
