**Responsibilities**:
**Position Summary**

The job role involves overlooking the quality of the documents. The editor should make sure that the documents adhere to a set format and are devoid of any language or other errors. The editor should eliminate any grammatical errors and enhance the overall quality in terms of language, clarity, readability, and consistency. The editor will work in proximity with authors and train/nurture them in writing flawless documents including content, titles, headings, sub-headings, and flow of the text too. The editor will be required to take regular grammar and language training sessions for existing employees as well as new joiners.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**

The editor will be responsible to check and maintain the quality of documents and ensure that the content is of publishable standard. The editor should make sure that the documents adhere to a set format and meet all the parameters assigned. The documents should be devoid of any language or other errors. The editor should eliminate any grammatical errors and enhance the overall quality in terms of language, clarity, readability, and consistency. She/He will be required to rate the documents according to the standards and provide regular feedback to authors.

The editor will work in proximity with authors and train/nurture them in writing flawless documents including content, titles, headings, sub-headings, and flow of the text too. The editor will be required to take regular grammar and language training sessions for existing employees as well as new joiners and work on new formats if and when required.

**Required Skills**:
Good verbal and written English, grasp of grammar and punctuation, time management skills, ability to meet deadlines, disciplined, ability to work under pressure, organizational skills, research skills, and basic MS Excel and Word knowledge.

**Preferred Skills**:
Team management and collaboration with external teams.
