**Role Overview**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef de Partie (Halwai) to join our culinary team at Food Whisperer. This position involves preparing and presenting traditional Indian sweets and snacks, ensuring high-quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of our kitchen operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Preparation & Cooking**: Prepare a variety of traditional Indian sweets and snacks, including but not limited to laddoos, barfis, jalebis, halwas, and kachoris, following standardized recipes and maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor and maintain the quality of all prepared items, ensuring they meet the established standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
- **Kitchen Management**: Oversee the daily operations of the sweet-making section, including mise en place, cooking, and plating. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and that the workspace is organized and clean.
- **Inventory Management**: Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked and minimizing waste.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate the preparation of dishes, assist in training junior staff, and foster a positive and efficient work environment.
- **Hygiene & Safety**: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, always ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- **Innovation**: Contribute to the development of new recipes and menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current food trends.

**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in traditional Indian sweet and snack preparation.
- **Education**: Formal culinary training or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen setting.
- **Skills**: Proficient in the preparation of a wide range of Indian sweets and snacks. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of traditional cooking techniques and ingredients used in Indian sweets and snacks.
- **Language**: Proficiency in Hindi and/or English is preferred.

**Additional Information**
- **Work Schedule**: Flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational needs of the kitchen.
- **Compensation**: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: ₹24,750.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
