**Position: Cable Stay Bridge Design Engineer**

Job Summary: As a Cable Stay Bridge Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing cable-stayed bridges, ensuring their structural integrity, and overseeing the construction process. You will collaborate with a team of engineers and architects to create innovative and efficient bridge designs that meet the project's requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the safety, durability, and functionality of cable-stayed bridges.

**Responsibilities**:

- Bridge Design: Design and develop cable-stayed bridge structures according to project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Structural Analysis: Perform structural analysis and calculations using engineering software and tools to verify the stability, strength, and load capacity of the bridge.
- Material Selection: Determine appropriate materials, including steel, concrete, and cables, considering factors such as cost, strength, and durability.
- Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies and provide input on the viability of bridge designs, considering factors such as site conditions, environmental impact, and construction feasibility.
- Technical Drawings: Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Documentation: Create technical reports, design documentation, and construction specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and construction professionals, to ensure seamless integration of the bridge design with other project elements.
- Technical approval - Explain the analysis and design to the Authority engineer and Client to get approval.
- Project Management: Manage bridge design projects to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality control checks on design deliverables, review drawings and calculations, and ensure adherence to design standards and best practices.
- Construction Oversight: Provide technical support during the construction phase, resolving any design-related issues and ensuring compliance with design specifications.

**Requirements**:

- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field. A master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
- Experience: Proven 8-10 year experience in the design and analysis of cable-stayed bridges, preferably in a consulting or engineering firm.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, bridge design codes and standards, and cable-stayed bridge design methodologies.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in structural analysis software (such as LUSAS, SAP2000, MIDAS, or STAAD) and CAD software (such as AutoCAD or Revit).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify design challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
