The Businesses of Saint-Gobain Group in India are housed in two large entities, Grindwell Norton Limited (GNO), a publicly traded company and Saint-Gobain India Pvt. Ltd. (SGI).
- **Grindwell Norton Limited **_
Headquartered in Mumbai, GNO has seven manufacturing locations (Mora near Mumbai, Nagpur, Bangalore, Tirupati,Halol, Himachal Pradesh and Bhutan) and 12 sales offices across the country. Himachal Pradesh Abrasives site for manufacture of Thin Wheels and Coated Discs commenced commercial production in May '08. Saint-Gobain Ceramic Materials Bhutan Pvt. Ltd., a majority owned joint venture with a local partner in Bhutan, has set up a plant to produce 13000 tons of Silicon Carbide (SiC).
**Job Specification**
**Position : Sales Officer - Retail F&D**
**Location : Across India**
**Qualifications : Any Graduation/MBA is preferred**
**Age : 24- 30 Years**
**Experience : 2+ years of experience in Retail Sales**
**Preferred target Companies (if any): NA**
**Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities**:
Achieve sales target
- Achieve sales target in the assigned territory
- Forecasting and planning of demand at start of each month
Business Development
- Identify new retailers/markets for conversion
- Convert the identified retailers/ market opportunities
- Implement Secondary Promotion schemes rolled over time to time
Market Development Activity
- Ensure GNO visibility at key retailer’s place.
- Conduct “Kiosk Activity” at retailer’s place.
Dealer/Customer Management
- Impart basic training to dealers & their sales personnel
- Handle & Investigate complaints, make reports & close the complaints in all respects
Market Intelligence
- Gather information from market on: Competition activity & Market Mapping
Management of Receivables
- Ensure collections as per the Credit Policy.
- Maintain the quality of receivables
Reporting - Monthly, Visit
- Manage various Sales reports through Customer Interface Management (CIM)
- Track secondary sales data through Sales force
**Qualifications**
- Any Graduation/MBA Preferred
- 2 to 4 years of experience in handling sales in Paint industry/ Ply/ Hardware companies/Adhesives/Abrasives
- Strong convincing skills and have experience in retail Sales
- Experience in handling dealers and distributors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
