Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the company's financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- **General Ledger Management**:

- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Monitor and analyze general ledger transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- **Compliance and Audit**:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
- Address audit findings and implement recommendations for process improvements.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets.
- Prepare financial forecasts and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- **Financial Analysis**:

- Conduct financial analysis to support business operations and identify areas for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Provide insightful recommendations to improve financial performance.
- **Tax Compliance**:

- Work closely with the tax department to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns.
- Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial procedures and systems.
- Implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- **Team Leadership and Collaboration**:

- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial information and resolve accounting-related issues.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial accounting, and reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
