**Roles & Responsibities**:

- Install, inspect, and maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment such as pumps, valves, motors, conveyors, and compressors.
- Troubleshoot and identify mechanical faults and issues in equipment, and perform repairs as necessary.
- Replace or repair defective parts, such as bearings, seals, or gears, and ensure that all repairs meet safety and operational standards.
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to reduce the likelihood of breakdowns.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure the work area is safe and clean
- Keep detailed records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections, including parts used and time spent.
- Assist in training junior fitters or apprentices and collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth running of operations.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and unplanned downtime, working quickly to identify and fix the issue to minimize disruption to production.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- Understanding of mechanical systems, their components, and how they function.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- A trade qualification (e.g., mechanical fitter, maintenance fitter)

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
