**Purpose of the job**:

- Provide professional onsite IT support with a high service level to local co-workers.
- Secure the support for a number of Inter IKEA IT systems and ensure the knowledge is kept professionally up-to-date about advances in technology.
- Secure organizational deliverables according to established Inter IKEA priorities through the development of a competent and high performing organization based on the needs of today and tomorrow.
- Responsible for ensuring business continuity of all supported Digital products and platforms by providing technical specialist competence in an independent way, to maximize efficiencies and meet the identified business demands.
- Be the link between central stakeholders and the office in the country and operate within a global Digital organization with global routines and guidelines to secure that tools are used correctly within each business unit.

**Job description**
- Perform and manage planned activities, such as IT installations, upgrades, local rebuilds and maintenance activities according to agreed goals, defined strategies, budget and overall IT investments.
- Take necessary decisions and actions to solve issues, as well as priorities issues according to business needs in close co-operation with the global Single Point of Contact (Helpdesk) in an efficient and professional manner issues and know when and how to escalate it in the support chain.
- Perform all daily tasks according to set procedures, rules and guidelines and ensure that they are aligned within the organization.
- Actively participates in local IT experts network between other PLA units and secure IT communication locally.
- Provide technical training for onsite support staff and for new hires, including setting up and introducing technical equipment (e.g. laptops).
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine monitoring to ensure continuous uptime of the onsite IT infrastructure.
- Responsible for IT security in close co-operation with risk management and information security.
- Monitor the development of IT technologies and system trends, and evaluate their possible business benefits.
- Manage relationships with Inter IKEA IT, vendors, contractors, service providers and other stakeholders regarding support, upgrades, bug reporting, change requests, etc. when needed.
- At any time, act as an ambassador of Inter IKEA values.
- Support Admin Manager with office running operations.
- Support Admin Manager with vendor management and timely invoices.

**Qualification**
- Good Understanding of IKEA Strategic Landscape, especially Purchasing Strategy
- Good Understanding of IKEA business model and total cost approach
- Good knowledge of IKEA Purchasing Manual, Information Security Working Method and how to use them in the daily job tasks.
- Good knowledge of the end user's needs and IKEA business processes
- Good knowledge of IT service management, processes and toolsets, procedures and guidelines
- Good knowledge of the IKEA IT system landscape (common and local) and how it works for the IKEA business
- Good knowledge of the IKEA IT infrastructure standards and technical environment
- Good knowledge of the IKEA IT organization and its different roles IT Steer/Demand/Delivery
- Good knowledge of Purchasing Operations systems, processes and regulations,
- Deep understanding of business impact upon service requests and incidents
- Deep knowledge of software, hardware, IP networks and voice communication
- Good knowledge of project management tools and methodology
